You might think, hope even, that the inaugural blog post of cold! hot! one! two! might be a tightly written introduction, and not a borderline illegal torrent-related story, but it isn’t and it is.
Talk about starting off on the right foot. 
Just caught this the other day, a pretty amazing(ly big) torrent. It’s basically one song from all the bands playing at SXSW this March. Can’t say it’s as legal as it may come off to be, but considering that most people more than likely have not heard of 90% of these artists they really need all the publicity that can get I’d imagine. Course I can’t say I’ve heard any one band worthy of said publicity, but then again theirs probably 40+ hours worth of music here (and it’s all pretty damn listenable actually), so I wouldn’t say I’ve experienced it all quite yet.
Oh and in case you were left perplexed as to what “SXSW” might be Wikipedia tells it as, “South by Southwest (SXSW) is a set of interactive, film, and music festivals and conferences that take place every spring in Austin, Texas. ” I’ve never been, but as just a casual follower for the past couple of years it seems that it’s traditionally been a festival for smaller/indie artists to potentially get some much needed attention. So there you go, you learn something new every day.
